Toronto Residential Market Update, September 2026
Toronto and GTA buyers continued to benefit from softer home prices in September, while sales activity slowed compared with last year. According to TRREB, the market remained cautious amid economic uncertainty, inflation and borrowing-cost concerns.

- New listings: 16,500, down 14.4%.
- Average selling price: $1,006,409, down 5.1%.
- MLS® HPI benchmark price: down 4.7% year-over-year.
